Savestudios's journey into this apocalyptic future begins not in the future, but in the past. Along the banks of the River of Theme, they join a group of mudlarkers, sifting through the remnants of by gone eras. These historical artefacts-clay pipes, ceramics become the foundation of their creative process, informing designs with a sense of continuity between past and future, destruction and creation. The rough, tactile presence of these found objects contrasts starkly with the delicate fabrics they adorn, symbolising the resilience required to rebuild from ruins.
